Photographs and/or video will be taken at all Ad Buyers Meetup events. By entering the event premises, you consent to being the subject of interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for web casts, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Ad Buyers Meetup and its affiliates and representatives. Such images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar Ad Buyers Meetup events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of Ad Buyers Meetup. You release Ad Buyers Meetup, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of such interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.
By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Ad Buyers Meetup or the person or entity designated to do so by Ad Buyers Meetup.
You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event premises.
Age of Consent
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old or the age of majority in your state or province of residence to register online, sign-up, or purchase our goods or services. Ad Buyers Meetup does not knowingly collect information from children or minors.
Disputes

Data Processing Addendum
Processing Requirements: In the course of providing our services to you, Ad Buyers Meetup may process personal data on your behalf where such personal data is subject to applicable privacy laws. To this end, Ad Buyers Meetup represents and warrants that it shall process such personal data only as may be required and necessary to provide the services and as may subsequently be agreed between the Parties in writing. Ad Buyers Meetup shall maintain reasonable and appropriate processes and technical measures that will ensure that reasonable and lawful instructions can be complied with upon your written request, including the following: updating, amending or correcting the personal data of any individual, cancelling or blocking access to any personal data and providing a written record of the processing of personal data. Ad Buyers Meetup shall, promptly following receipt of written notice, delete personal data from its records and, upon completion of the services, comply with all reasonable instructions with respect to the deletion of any remaining personal data. Ad Buyers Meetup shall comply with all applicable privacy law to the extent applicable to the provision of the services.
Ad Buyers Meetup shall co-operate and comply with the directions or decisions of relevant privacy authorities, in each case (a) solely to the extent applicable to the Ad Buyers Meetup's’s provision of the services, and (b) within such reasonable time as would enable it to meet any time limit imposed by the privacy authority. Ad Buyers Meetup shall ensure the reliability of any employee who has access to your personal data and that such personnel is under an appropriate obligation of confidentiality (whether a contractual or statutory duty). Ad Buyers Meetup will remain liable for any disclosure of personal data by each such employee as if it had made such disclosure itself. Ad Buyers Meetup shall appoint a data protection officer in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Photos and Videos: GDPR legislation states that a photograph may contain some form of personal data where they can be processed to allow “the unique identification or authentication of a natural person.” We may be taking pictures and record video footage of our events. We take pictures of guests (individual and groups), speakers, participants, etc. We do this based on our legitimate interest to document our events and market their success. As part of our events, guests are captured in portraits or in group photos with their previous knowledge and consent and their rights are protected by Ad Buyers Meetup as detailed in this Privacy Policy.
In terms of explicit GDPR compliance, clients and guests are photographed within the parameters of GDPR legislation on the basis of ‘legitimate interests.’ We may display any photographs or videos to promote Ad Buyers Meetup on our Website, on social media, on other related websites, in marketing and advertising, brochures, blogs, online articles and other such material, providing that the images or videos used are used lawfully and without damage to Ad Buyers Meetup's’s sponsors, partners, guests, or customer(s). The rights of the people captured in these photographs are protected by Ad Buyers Meetup as detailed in this Privacy Policy.
Breach Notification: Unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law, Ad Buyers Meetup shall notify you, as soon as is reasonably possible but in any event no later than within seventy two (72) hours after becoming aware, of any security breach of personal data. Privacy Impact Assessment: Ad Buyers Meetup shall, promptly upon receipt of your written request, at your cost, make available to you such information as is reasonably necessary to demonstrate Ad Buyers Meetup's’s compliance with applicable privacy law. Ad Buyers Meetup shall reasonably cooperate with a partner to implement such mitigation actions as are reasonably required to address privacy risks identified. However, unless pursuant to a security breach, or is otherwise required by applicable privacy law, you shall not make any such request more than once in any 24-month period.
Third-Party Disclosure Requests: Unless prohibited by applicable law, Ad Buyers Meetup shall, inform you promptly of any inquiry or complaint from any governmental, regulatory or supervisory authority and shall provide all reasonable assistance, to enable you to respond and to meet applicable statutory or regulatory deadlines. Ad Buyers Meetup shall ensure that any sub-processor shall, not disclose personal data unless it is legally required to do so and has otherwise complied with the obligations in this Addendum. Unless prohibited by applicable law, in the event that Ad Buyers Meetup or any sub-processor is required by law to disclose any personal data, Ad Buyers Meetup shall and shall ensure that any sub-processor shall, notify you promptly and shall provide all reasonable assistance to you, at your cost, to enable you to respond to any such demands and to meet applicable statutory or regulatory deadlines. Ad Buyers Meetup shall ensure that any sub-processor shall not disclose personal data pursuant to a legal request unless it is required to do so and has otherwise complied with the obligations in this Addendum.
Transfers of Personal Data Outside of the European Economic Area: Where personal data originating in the European Economic Area is processed by Ad Buyers Meetup outside the European Economic Area, in a territory that has not been designated by the European Commission as ensuring an adequate level of protection pursuant to applicable privacy law, we agree that the transfer shall be undertaken pursuant to the Ad Buyers Meetup's’s Privacy Shield certification, which Ad Buyers Meetup shall maintain in full force and effect during the term of the parties agreement.
Deletion of Data: Following expiration or termination of the parties agreement, Ad Buyers Meetup will delete, or return to you upon request, all personal data in its possession as provided in the Agreement except to the extent Ad Buyers Meetup is required by applicable privacy law to retain some or all of the personal data (in which case Ad Buyers Meetup will archive the data and implement reasonable measures to prevent the personal data from any further processing). The terms of this Addendum will continue to apply to such personal data.
Order of Precedence: In the event of inconsistencies between the provisions of this Addendum and any privacy-related provisions herein or any other agreements between the Parties, the provisions of this Addendum shall prevail.
Effective Date
Due to the constantly changing nature of our business, we reserve the right to change, update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time at our sole discretion, and will post any new Privacy Policy here. Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on our Website. You are responsible for checking our Websites frequently to keep apprised of recent changes.
